Mica Tyler is a Uruguayan cinematographer based in Madrid. She sees cinematography as an act of listening: every project has its own rhythm and story, and her role is to find the light, movement, and images that let it speak authentically.

In 2024, her short film Fortezza was honored with both the jury and audience awards at the José Ignacio International Film Festival (JIIFF), which led to its participation in the Short Film Corner at Cannes. Her approach blends narrative sensitivity with a strong visual language, always in service of the story and its emotion.
